Protect your 2nd Generation Toyota Tundra with this custom fit catalytic converter protection plate.
Built from 3/16″ laser cut this aluminum catalytic converter protection plate is custom made to protect all four catalytic converters on the 2007 – 2021 Toyota Tundra.
Edges are bent up on each side of the plate to offer the most protection and restrict any access into the underside of the vehicle. Installation is with the included security bolts that bolt through the crossmembers and side frame, no drilling required.
Tools required – A 12 mm socket or wrench to remove the factory transfer case guard is required prior to plate install. A 1/4″ or 3/8″ ratchet or screwdriver with allen key attachment as well as a 9/16″ open ended wrench. It’s recommended that the security bolts be tightened to approximately 10 ft/lbs using a torque wrench. We do not recommend the use of a power drill to install the security bolts.
**Asylum is not responsible for replacing lost or damaged security bolt drivers or stripped bolts if a drill is used. A replacement driver can be made available provided the request is made by an original cat plate customer at a cost of $25 CAD plus shipping.

Ordered the cat plate for my 2021 Tundra. Shipped from Edmonton to Thunder Bay, I had it in a matter of a few days. So, i had the dealer install it for me (they have a hoist and I don’t), and hung out and helped the mechanic while he installed the cat plate (customers aren’t really allowed in the shop, but they sometimes bend the rules for me…lol). It went well, and I’m very impressed with the plate, the nice clean design, everything (so was the mechanic!). I sleep better at night knowing it’s there.
